Taiko is highly accessible with a focus on doing simple things well. The physical nature of taiko makes it utterly absorbing and exciting, while the discipline provides a structured framework for creativity. Above all, it’s great fun and we believe that once young people are having a good time, they’ll have a better experience of learning.
Kagemusha Taiko can deliver workshops at your school or at the Kagemusha Taiko Studio in the heart of Devon on the arts and education campus of Seale Hayne.

Hands-on session demonstrating the accessibility of taiko, learning to play taiko from the simplest detail of how to stand correctly to learning a melody pattern and playing and finishing all together.
